Catalog and synchronization

Synchronize and resolve an incomplete import

Check completion, not just the beginning of the process.

Reviewed October 23, 2026 · Customer guide

Steps

  1. Confirm store, domain, and source before starting sync.
  2. Review progress, processed records and errors. Wait for it to finish before interpreting the total.
  3. Compare a sample of new, updated, and retired products to the source.
  4. If it fails, keep the message and review authorization, source availability, and limits before repeating.

A partial import

Just because a batch is finished doesn’t mean the entire catalog has been read. In paginated connectors continue until the batches are completed. Do not mix two different sources within the same store to compensate for shortages.

What not to do

Do not change passwords or reinstall repeatedly without checking the error. Don’t delete the entire index as your first attempt. The recovery must preserve the previous catalog while the failure is identified.

How to verify it worked

The counts and a sample of data match; There are no pending lots left unrecognized.
